August Menu
Here is this months menu. It is mostly a "clean out the fridge" kind of menu, but all of our favorites none the less!
So some things I do to help with the planning, I usually use it twice during the month and I try to buy in bulk the things I use often. I don't have any left over days because everything is good the second day for lunch, but you could take out something you don't like and do a left over day.
Sorry this is a day late.
1. Chicken Cordon Bleu
2. Ham and Cheese Quiche
3. Crock pot Ravioli (you will have to scroll a little, but she has some great recipes!)
4. Oven baked Chicken (nothing fancy)
5. Stuffed French Bread
6. Bacon wrapped cilantro chicken

First Visit to the Zoo
While Grammi is here we are doing things we have not yet around Norfolk. First stop the VA Zoo!
Ammon was only interested in a few of the animals, but more interested in the people and children passing by.
Not to many animals were caught on my camera, sorry, just pictures of lil' man and daddy! But the zoo was fun and we really enjoyed the variety!

Our Menu
So every month I put together a meal plan. Nothing fancy, but keeps me in my budget and I never have to think of something to eat.
I don't know if any one cares, but I thought I would post my past month and I might post next month. I will also try to link my recipes into it.
My only warning is I have DUTY days marked because my hubby works, but you could use those as your left over days.
*One more note I usually try to double up our favorite recipes.

One year ago I took the millionth pregnancy test and finally liked my answer!
If you have ever read any of my posts you know that I suffer from Polycystic ovary syndrome PCOS. It messes with my hormone levels and cycles. So for the past 6 years I did not have a regular cycle, some would say I was lucky only having a period every few months. For me it stunk! I said I took the millionth pregnancy test, it may not have technically been, but it sure seems like I peed on a lot of those!
I thought I was the happiest I had ever been on my wedding day, but OH MY I never knew the happiness that came with finding out I was pregnant. I wanted to tell the world, but alas CJ and I decided to wait till Father's day to tell everyone.
I knew the next 9 months would be the best or the worse, but thankfully I was blessed with a FANTASTIC pregnancy. No morning sickness! The only real issues I had was my sciatic nerve was pinched every once in a while. I also grew to be very plump!
The day Ammon was born I again thought I had already felt as much joy as I could, but Heavenly Father showed me I was wrong. As soon as Ammon was in my arms I cried and was so in love!
This month my little guy is 4 months old! I am so blessed to have such a sweet little boy. His smile is contagious and his giggle is music to my ears!
I am very excited to see what his beautiful life will bring! I love you Lil' Man!
