Halloween 2014

This year was so much fun! Hubby was home and did not have to work on Halloween so we got to spend the day together!
This year we wanted to dress up as something as a family. We went through many ideas like characters from Wizard of OZ and Marvel super heroes, but after watching Lil' Man play outside one day hubby said let's be pirates!

Surprise!

Well we Surprised Hubby's family by flying out to AZ for our Niece's 3rd birthday!
Just watch the video and you will see...

It was the greatest surprise I have ever pulled off!

Then the week was full of fun activities with everyone! We went out to some great restaurants and ate great food.

We went to a Mesa local Pumpkin Patch.

We were also able to attend our Niece's birthday party. The kids had a lot of fun!

We were also able to visit with my Best Fiend, Karisa and meet her daughter B. We loved playing with them.

We were also lucky enough to get the Entire Warren family in one spot for pictures!

This was the best trip ever! We also got to attend the New Gilbert Temple

But it didn't stop there!
We attended the Open House for the Phoenix Temple with my family!
OH I didn't mention my sister and her husband came out for a surprise trip of their own! It was great to get to see them too!

Next we went up to Prescott Valley to stay with my family.

We were able to go to the Deer Farm in Williams AZ.
Ammon loved feeding the deer and playing with the goats.

After the deer farm we stopped in Williams down town for Lunch, which after living in AZ for 20 some odd years I had never done.

We also got to go shooting, which I know was hubby's favorite part of the entire trip.

And to round out our fun outings we went to the local Pumpkin patch in Prescott Valley!

We had so Much fun in Arizona and every time we go home for a visit I just want to stay forever!
Miss you AZ Family!

Labor Day Weekend

I love Labor Day weekend especially since my Birthday usually falls on the same weekend.
CJ also had 4 days off (not all together, duty on my birthday) so we decided to have some fun!
Friday we did our monthly shopping and get a little rest, bur Saturday we started our adventures.
We went to the ZOO! Lil' Man was so excited to see all the animals, he loved the fun train ride as well, but I slacked off and didn't get an pictures.

Sunday CJ had duty and I celebrated my birthday by starting my new calling at Church as Primary President. Then we took dinner to CJ on his ship.

Monday our friends invited us to go to the beach! It was a great day for it too! We went to the beach on Joint Base Little Creek and it was very calm and had great sand.

Tuesday we went to Chrysler Muesum of Art, Lil' Man was not interested at all, but we did enjoy looking at the work. We really enjoyed getting in the much needed family time.

18 months already!

I can not believe my lil' man is 18 months old! He is such a good smash up of me and his daddy. He definitely looks 100% like his dad, but he is a chatter box and smiles like me!
Today he had his check up- 27lbs 74% range, 32.5in tall 57% range and i didn't get his head circumference but it was in the 54% range. He is right on track and growing like a weed!
He has 12 teeth and he is getting two eye teeth.
He can tell you where his hair, ears, nose, bellybutton and feet are at.
He is so ticklish and loves to laugh at everything even if it was not funny.
He waves hi and bye, he gives high fives and loves to put things into the sink.
He gets into everything and breaks all the child locks.
Her are a few pictures to show my love!
This is his favorite cupboard and he is allowed in it, he sits in it quite often.

He loves to eat and the saucier it is the better to paint the high chair and some times even the wall.

He loves getting his picture taken and then he wants to see it. if you want to take his picture you have to be quick.

He always wants to eat his banana all by himself!

Our favorite thing to do is to eat lunch/dinner with daddy on board his ship. He loves getting to sit in his own seat and then watch all the people passing by.
This is my favorite picture!

Abby and Lil' Man are best of friends.

He is trying to be like his daddy and play the mouth harp. He loves watching daddy play and he always climbs on his lap to watch.

I love watching him grow and learn every day!

Since Sailor Came Home

We have had a great month since Sailor returned home, full of fun activities for us all.
I posted already about our Easter at Busch Gardens, but that was just where it started.
Sailor was able to take two weeks off and we decided to take an impromptu trip down to Biloxi MS to visit my sister and her husband. It turns out though that my two brothers were there as well for training for work, so all four of us were in the same place for the first time in five years!
We had a lot of fun and my sister was able to meet Lil' Man for the first time.

Aunt Summer and Lil' Man on a leash!

Lil' man was not to happy to wear his leash
but there was to much for him to touch

We got to play in the sand too!

Fun restaurant on the beach

While in MS we had pictures taken! Best part was all four of us together!!
( Why is this special? From Left to Right: E is in the Navy based in San Diego, N married to Sailor based in VA, S married to Airman based in Biloxi MS, J is Airman just starting training) We are all married and live in completely different parts of the country and this will probably be the last time we are together for another couple years.

Even got a new family picture!

We also attended Pungo Strawberry Festival which had a parade, booths and rides. Lil' Man loved the parade.  There was a booth selling wooden toys and as soon as Lil' Man saw them he wanted all of the toys, but we settled for a ducky.

 Celebrating Memorial Day

The next pictures are of the Patriotic Air show held in VA Beach every year. We love going because you just go hang out on the beach and watch the planes fly out over the ocean.

This picture is of a PF1 Mustang from WWII and F-22 Raptor commemorating those who have and are serving our country.

All in all we have had a lot going on and well it is not slowing down. Late this month Sailor's parents are coming out for a couple weeks! We can not wait!!

Easter @ Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens held a free day for the families of the USS Truman.  We had not gone yet so why not try it out.
The day started off with some drizzle, but it became a great day.

The park had an "egg hunt" which for the little guys since it was raining was just a basket and some eggs. We went with another family and went to Sesame Street (since they were all under 6) to play.
Lil' Man loved playing on all the cool things.
