Living in South Carolina is so amazing. There is so much to see here and all of it is part of our history. This past weekend CJ and I went downtown to a place called Battery park. The park is pretty much at the end of Charleston on the bay. It is a park full of statues and tributes to those who fought during the civil war, and World War One. CJ really enjoyed reading each statue. I love the pictures I get! We had a lot of fun see the harbor and the ships. We saw a Carnival Cruise line leaving, it was pretty neat.
As we were walking along the ocean we were walking past many homes that were probably worth more than my life. They were amazing. Three stories with balconies all the way around. Some had beautiful court yards and gates (keeping us out). We can't wait for our parents to come and visit so they can see all these historical sights with us!
