First week of October
Then on Wednesday CJ and I celebrated his 26th birthday with home made Mexican food and a Great Peanut Butter Pie (thank you Katie Sorenson!)! We invited a couple we are good friends
with to share the delicious pie. CJ also received his present from his mom and dad, a knife and tool sharpener, which he really wanted (THE exact one). Thanks Mom and Dad for this!

Finally Friday the 7th CJ graduated power school. The Ceremony was great and the weather was perfect for the occasion. He looked great and I was able to get some great photos of him with his section and with Command Master Chief Coles. CJ finished number 85 out of 367 with a final GPA of 3.55. I am so proud of all he accomplished this last 6 months, it has been a hard and exhausting time for him, but he kept his head on straight and pushed through it.

What next? Well CJ will be on Graduation hold for some where between 4 to 12 months before starting his third and final training school. While waiting he will actually be working at the prototype school that he will be attending, doing grunt work. So needless to say we will be here for at least another year! So you want a vacation come see me!!
So our first week has been busy, now to rest and enjoy the beautiful weather!

Sailing Take 2!
Well Back in April or May CJ took a sailing course, but when we went to do the water portion There was no wind at all! Well things went into full swing with power School and CJ did not have time for the class, But now that school is coming to an end he took the course, this time it was a perfectly windy day for it (a little chilly for me).
CJ really liked being out on the water, maybe some day i will join him out there!

New Addition
Well we were not really looking for one, but we bought a second car! We were going to wait till we moved and had a little more income. All we did was look at an add in the paper and we found a vehicle that was in our exact price range, but then we test drove it and it was smoking after we drove a mile to the gas station. And it was going to be a deal now and then pay for it later!
What I didn't mention was that we test drove a Nissan pathfinder first. That was our first mistake, because we loved it!
It is a metallic blue (which means it Sparkles!), 3 rows of seats, a tow hitch, roof rack, and 4 wheel drive. It was a great deal for a 2008 with only 42,000 miles! It runs great and I love driving it and the dogs love having the space to stand and look out all the windows! They have already slobbered on the window.
It's going to be a vehicle that will last in the family and will fit most of our kids (when the time comes). I am glad we did this! Everything fell right into place!

One Year
One year ago today I had to say good bye to my husband as he went off to Navy Basic Boot Camp. It was probably the worst day I had experienced so far. MY mother in law, Grandma and I went and saw CJ sworn in and then we met him at the airport to say our final good byes! I cried of course, but then I sucked it up and kept my phone close by for CJ to call me every step of the way.
Now in 5 weeks I will be attending CJ's Power School graduation. This is the end to his second training school. I am so proud of him. He will probably be graduating with a 3.5 GPA which is pretty incredible! I have a smart husband. I love you PO3 Warren and I am so grateful to be your wife!
My first night home without him was hard and many tears were shed, especially when I finally got the call he made it there and that I would receive a box of his clothes. I lost it and cried myself to sleep. It was a crazy day and I am thankful now that we were able to get through it and we now have a great career to keep us afloat.

Touring South Carolina part... I forget!
Living in South Carolina is so amazing. There is so much to see here and all of it is part of our history. This past weekend CJ and I went downtown to a place called Battery park. The park is pretty much at the end of Charleston on the bay. It is a park full of statues and tributes to those who fought during the civil war, and World War One. CJ really enjoyed reading each statue. I love the pictures I get! We had a lot of fun see the harbor and the ships. We saw a Carnival Cruise line leaving, it was pretty neat.
As we were walking along the ocean we were walking past many homes that were probably worth more than my life. They were amazing. Three stories with balconies all the way around. Some had beautiful court yards and gates (keeping us out). We can't wait for our parents to come and visit so they can see all these historical sights with us!

My Rant!
This is not intended for any one who really reads my blog, just at the general population. Here goes!
This is to all who ask these questions:
1) Don't you like children?
2) Are you going to have kids?
3) When are you going to have kids?
When ever I meet some one knew and we are starting to get to know each other, usually those questions pop either verbally or mentally. Well I need to get this off my chest and maybe even print it out and hand to every new friend I make.
Yes CJ and I want children and once you get to know me you will find that I love children and if you let me close enough I may end up steeling your kids. LOL! We have been trying for three years and have been working with doctors to find out what is going on and how to control it.
Well after switching doctors cause of the life change, we have found that I am the sole purpose of our troubles and that the doctor has started me on Letrozole to help me ovulate.
Letrozole is a medication usually used for breast cancer patients but they have found it also helps women with Poly-Cystic Ovaries. It is like Clomid, but with less side effects and a smaller chance of multiples. The doctor will try this for the next six months and then we will take some more invasive actions. Keep our fingers crossed and prayers said it wont take that long.
This has been a very touchy subject for me for a while and it has been made harder as siblings get pregnant and more friends are pregnant than not.
How do I handle it? Who knows ? I keep a journal and I try to express it to CJ, but other than that I keep it under wraps.
I know when I talk to people about this they become apologetic and they all have the same comment "It will be your turn and your time, Heavenly Father has a plan." I know they just aren't sure what to say, and I am thankful, but if you read this don't post that, I know this info and trust me I am in constant contact with HF and we have an understanding.
I am thankful that I have been given the chance to learn patience and realize that there are so many things in life I can't control and wont be able to control. I am blessed for a supportive husband and family who try their best to understand our situation and I hope they know I love them a bunch.
Ok my ranting is done! Thanks for listening!
