Change
So I have been the same since I was in high school, long red hair. I never minded. A couple times I even layered it and I have high lighted it. But this time I was ready for something to change. It was hot outside and well my head was hot. So I went from this:
To this:
I love my hair, I was going to go shorter, but I chickened out at the last minute, so this is how short I could go. But It is thinner for the time being and I am so Excited to have a cool head!

California Trip with the Warren Clan
So in April the Warren Clan consisting of Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Sister-in-law and her hubby, and little brother-in-law, and CJ and I, went to California for a little trip. The rest of the family went for a week, but CJ and I could only swing four days out there, but we packed them full of fun things. First we went to Sea World. I am only posting a few pictures, cause well between my Mother-in-law and brother-in-law we had 100's of photos. My mother-in-law also had shirts made for each of us, matching for couples.
This is the view from a balcony at our hotel. We were right on the beach, very beautiful everyday!
One of the many great creatures at Sea World, this Otter was so happy just swimming around his tank all day!
I don't know if you can see it, but yes that is water coming out of Shamu's mouth and well it reached us. We were completely soaked after his performance.
This is called a strawberry anemone. They were so pink, I wanted to take one home with me!
OK so this walrus was very LARGE! He swam right up to the glass and was spitting his food into the glass and then eating it again, it was quite disgusting.
Then there was the shark exhibit, this was last on our list of things to do, we had the whole place to ourselves. We went through the shark tunnel once but kept walking back to the beginning and watching the sharks swim over us.

Then on Friday CJ, Meg, Colton, and Jordo went sea kayaking, I felt like getting a major sunburn while chatting with my mother-in-law on the beach. The burn didn't hurt till the next morning when my skin was tight. CJ said they saw Seal Lions on a booey, and another nest of them on the rock out cove they passed.

The next day we went to the San Diego Temple and did an endowment session. It is so beautiful in the Temple, I could have spent years in there just sitting in the Celestial room pondering.

All in all it was a great trip with tons to do and well I needed a vacation from my vacation. Thanks Nedra and Stephen for our trip!

I should probably post something
Alright I am very sorry this has not come sooner. I am horrible about keeping this up during the school year but I will start in January and post to now.
So to start off the year we added a new puppy to our mix.
She is a mutt from a litter my parent's dogs had. She is a great companion for Gage our two year old dog.
The first three pictures are when Abby was two months old. She was so small.

The next ones are from now. She is now five and a half months old. She is the same size as Gage and is still growing. She is so cuddly even in between CJ and I in bed. She has crazy dreams and you can tell when she is dreaming! She is definitely still a puppy. She chews on everything. House training wasn't a problem, but we cannot get her to stop chewing. We love her although I think Gage resents her cause they spend the better part of the day outside while we are working.

Recap of our 2009
SO this year went way too fast!
This year had it's ups and downs-
January- February not alot happened
March- We came across a lady selling a house for nearly what she owed and it fell within our price range We started the month and a half process on the papers. I was told that my position was to be eliminated do to budget cuts and that along with 100 other people I was being RIFed (Reduction in Force), the district will call everyone back before July.
April- We sign the papers on the house, it was finally a home!
May- finished my first full year of teaching. It was incredible. Started teaching Summer school. I liked that schedule.
June- Teaching summer school and becoming worried about gossip on the job front, saying we wont know anything till July. Well I don't like not being in control I had to find something out. Called my principal and he offered me a Kindergarten job!
July- Just rested and CJ got in gear to start his LAST year of school.
August- One year since we started trying to get pregnant, still no luck. One week before school started I was asked to switch grades and follow my first graders up to second grade. I turned 24 and realized parties should only be thrown for little children.
September- Not a whole lot happening.
October- Went to see a doctor about getting pregnant, ran a whole lot of tests, and well inconclusive. CJ decided he does not want to be a nurse, he quits program in search for... Navy Nuclear Program!
November- I find out I have Poly cystic Ovaries and we need to have a doctor help us get pregnant. :( CJ is sworn in as a US Navy Recruit. Thanksgiving was held at our house and was quite a hit, cooked my first turkey (with help from my sister).
December- Finished the semester at school, CJ realizes he really doesn't want to be a CNA either, but knows he has to stick it out. Got to visit a lot of family and spend our SECOND ANNIVERSARY together! We finished reading the Book of Mormon, which took us a long time!
The new year-
What can I saw we have a lot to happen and a lot we hope will happen.
To start we will be sending CJ to boot camp in September and moving to South Carolina in the late portion of the year. I will quite my job at the end of the school year in hopes of coming back as a substitute until we move.
We will start in February to try (with doctors help) to get pregnant, if all goes well maybe by May I will have good news.
CJ and I will read Doctrine and Covenants all the way through before he leaves.
My mother-in-law and I will get a good jump on my family history.
All in all we have huge changes coming our way and hope for the wonderful blessing of our Heavenly Father to get us through! So happy new year to all and may it be healthy and blessed!

Happy 2nd Anniversary To Us!
Ok I know it doesn't seem long to many people, but to me two years is well two years. So much has happened and well this third year even more is in store! I can not wait!
Well for our anniversary, we didn't do anything fantasy, we took a drive that lead us Jerome and over to Camp Verde where we had a picnic at Montezuma's Well, and then over to Fort Verde. We then finished the night of with dinner and a night home together.
THe first group of pictures is from the Mingus Mountains and the well.
This is of all the puppies at my mom's house! They are really moving around now and one opened her eyes today! The puppy in the bottom left is probably going to be ours. CJ has fell in love with her. The other one in the bottom, well that is how we found her sleeping today! In the top right is the long white puppy that only has three spots! The top left well is all the puppies together.

Christmas 2009
So December has been a very busy month both at home and at work. I always realize around this season that college does not prepare you for school parties. But I have been doing pretty good so far. We had Christmas plays, and Christmas activities, and well a lot of good spirit and cheer.
So I have posted a montage of pictures. This is the first time I have used this new program I found.
This first one is of CJ. He was such a sport, I love him dearly for doing this. The First grade and Kindergarten teachers asked if he would dress up as Santa. Everyone loved it, but he needed to eat more cookies, he is a very skinny Santa!
This was one of the activities we did in second grade is make Gingerbread Houses (aka Graham Cracker Houses). First you rinse out 32 stinky milk jugs and then you tape them closed and tape two of them together. Then the kids use frosting to "glue" on Graham Crackers to make the house. Then you let them go to town on decorating their houses. Some kids did a great job, others well they are very imaginative and creative to say the least. Thanks mom for coming in and helping!
Well while all of this was taking place at school there was a miracle of life at my mom's house. She breeded their two muts and well Sadie gave birth to 13 beautiful puppies. They are so precious. There is already claim to four of them. We claimed the first born, it was a girl and CJ fell in love with her. She was a dark brown coat with white tipped toes and a white tipped tail, and one white stripe down her belly. She is so noisy and whines and tries to bark all the time! Can't wait to bring her home!
After school got out for the holiday break we did a lot of family visits. On Sunday before Christmas we went down to Phoenix to visit my mom's family and CJ met my oldest aunt. We had dinner with them and then cam home (no pictures).
Then on Monday we had all of CJ's family and dogs (they out number us now) over for Christmas.
It was a lot of fun, we decided to pick a name and get gifts for that person, but some of us slipped in others. Mom got a new camera, Meghan and I got new Kithen aides, CJ got a new rifle (Thanks Colton). It was a lot of fun and it was nice to get everyone together.
Then Christmas morning we went over to my parents house for presents. It seems like everyone got what they needed. My mom got new pots and a rice cooker. Dad got the rifle he had been on hold for since Thanksgiving. Jeremiah got a practice bow and arrows. Summer got cute things to put in her room and clothes. I got a little vacuum for my classroom and CJ got a nice hard case for his guns.

This next set is just pictures of presents that CJ and I got. He bought me a Cricut (Karisa you need to come help me play), he also got me a bead case and crazy scissors! CJ got a new drill and his WWII Riffle and a 9mm riffle from his brother-in-law. So to say the least we made out pretty good and had an amazing Christmas season.
Despite all the presents and holiday hustle and bustle, I tried very hard to to keep in mind the true Christmas meaning. CJ and I still rea our scriptures each night and pray each day for the love of our Savior and the blessing he has given to us. We are grateful for the knowledge of his atonement and what Christ sacrificed for us when he was born. Thank you Jesus Christ!

I love this time of the YEAR!
Prescott is known as the Christmas Town of Arizona. I know exactly why! This past weekend Hubby and I and my Best Friend went Downtown Prescott to enjoy the beautiful Courthouse Lighting. There are choirs from local schools who sing Christmas Carols while someone reads a shortened version of the saviors birth story, then towards the end the shut the lights off and turn on all the beautiful Christmas lights! It is so Fun!
FHE activity number one: Bundle everyone up and walk around the Courthouse to see all the beautiful lights. (free to walk around)

After being freezing cold we decided to go to Prescott Resort to see the Largest Ginger Bread house village. Well they had some amazing houses. People put a lot of time and effort in their craft. Details. Details. Details.
FHE activity number two: Go walk the Gingerbread House Village (free admission)

This last house is really funny and reminds me of past ans present nick-names. This is a castle built out of Big Red gum. Well a friend of mine from high school his dad used to call me Big Red. My dad still calls me Red.
FHE activity number three: Go drive through the Valley of Lights in Prescott Valley (free to get in, but please donate at the end to keep it a tradition).
We are hoping to do this one sometime soon!
